Rick has spent most of his career litigating in federal court, in both trials and appeals, and joined his brother Tom at Ebbinghouse Law Group in 2011. He is admitted to practice in Indiana and Alabama, in numerous federal courts, the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Tax Court. He is AV Peer Rated in Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers.
Tom opened his Indianapolis practice in 1982 and concentrated on IRS tax problem resolution, being admitted to the U.S. Tax Court in 1983, alongside wealth preservation, estate administration and elder law. He earned his law degree cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law after clerking for the Indiana Court of Appeals. He has chaired and taught more than fifteen seminars for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum.
